It came unexpectedly like a thunderstorm hiding in the wake of the mountains.
Insidiously, it scourge us while our backs were turned and left us totally
crippled without a glimpse of hope.
There was nothing we could do to access our accounts.
We begged them to give us the harvest of our hardwork and toil, but they
severed all relations and choose to ignore us.

In case you have not realized. The company we are talking about is
www.nomonthly.com. They brought the wrath of their powers on us and choose to
destroy us completely. We pleaded several times but nothing came of it until
an email came and told us that everything that was, is now gone.
We were totally shocked and dismayed, we tried everything we could do to get
our stuff back. But there was nothing we could do, even getting a lawer
would not have helped. They had made a foolproof agreement that would have
us hapless according to their hosting terms and conditions.
Obviously, they could have taken the other options of notifying us and give
us ample time to back out if they really did not want our patronage, but
they choose to take the drastic action of removing our site without giving
us the slightess hint of notification.
We have hosted for more than a year with them and all that we've got from
them is this mess.

The reason our site was deleted was because we had used a script which they
claim to be a security risk to their servers. But in fact, it was just a
telnet script. Something which was no different from running SSH software
and we had bumped against their server directory that's all. There was no
deliberate act of intrusion, there was no damage done. So why did they
remove us without letting us know and delete everything as well? Guess we
may never know the answer.

All we can do now is to start to rebuild everything from scratch again.
It left us pondering on where customer loyalty had went. Where internet
business ethics draws the line.

I draw the curtain and hope that you will be able to understand our
predicament and that it was beyond our ability to prevent this from
happening.
