I've used the Slide format in MX 2004 professional to build a very simple click-through set of slides. Just a few slides, with buttons that use the "next slide," "previous slide" etc. canned behaviors.
When tested within Flash or displayed in a browser, the .swf functions properly. You can click on the next slide and previous slide buttons to navigate through the series of screens.
However, run the .swf file standalone (for example, double-click it on the desktop) or build a .exe projector, and you see only the final slide. In addition, you can see items from previous slides layered in the final slide. For example, each slide has a hard-coded page number on it. In the final slide you see when viewed standalone, you see all the page numbers layered one on top of the other.
It's a simple project and I've rebuilt it several times (thinking I'd missed something simple) with a similar result. I tried searching the forum, and didn't come up with anything. (It's actually hard to describe in a few search keywords.)
Can anyone help? Many thanks.
