Speed Problems With Layers/Text

Hi Everyone, I've been working on a flash site which has a movie clip containing a masked image. the movie clip, when clicked, resizes (with tween) the mask to fill the page which works perfectly. :good: the problem occurs when i add text to the page (underneath the image) theimage movie clip plays very slowly. Anybody got any ideas what could be the problem. Would be greatful for any help or advise.

Text can do that to ya. Especially if there is a lot of it. Rendering text can take a lot out of Flash. Then if you want to resize, scale, or move it........oh man. :eek:
