I have a site I'm making in flash. I have a little movie clip object that basically is a little square that turns into a big square and once it fully transforms, it displays a welcome message within that square. My problem is that I have navigation buttons that have mouseover movies that display the title and content of a particular highlighted button and that displays within the textbox (Just by lining the text up with the box; it doesn't actually show up within the box movie). What I want to happen is to have that welcome message show up until one of those buttons is mouseovered. Because right now, that welcome message shows up, and when you highlight one of my nav buttons, the text goes right over the welcome message and you can't read anything.

Could someone please help? I'm using MX2004, thanks!

Make a box under the text that appears when the rollover occurs and make the box be the same color as the box that got bigger and said welcome on it. I would make the text be a button first then I would go into the text and then add the box there on a new layer below the text. Therefor it will look like the welcome text will go away once the rollover happens.
