Looking through the hundreds of Flash Add-ons you can download, I came across 2 that you can send emails from Flash MX 2004 with basic button, text field, and web connector, and either this free download of Mail Sender V1.0.0 (http://www.macromedia.com/cfusion/exchange/index.cfm?view=sn110#loc=en_us&view=sn111&viewName=Flash%20Extension&authorid=65094881&page=0&scrollPos=0&subcatid=0&snid=sn111&itemnumber=20&extid=1023447&catid=0), or another that you must pay for. I was wondering if anyone has ever looked into this feature. If you have used it, or have any ideas on the use, or capability of this feature, please let me know.http://www.flashmove.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif

have to have a server that is capable of SMTP oR POP3. Basically, you have to get your own webserver. CGI or PHP or others can easily sent emails with about 30 lines of codes

flash able to send email, for as long as i can remember, the tough part is the cgi scripting of your provider. But they can help you with that, if you just give them a call.

As far as i am aware you can only use flash were there is php, cgi, asp... support to send emails. Flash on it's own cannot do this.

I have never used webConnect but i would assume this would be the same.

My 2 cents
