I had the same problem, try it like this:

1) export an .ai from freehand
2) import the .ai into Flash
3) export .eps image (not eps sequence!!!) from flash
4) create new, blank document in swift, then import the .eps you exported from flash....

I know it's quitw strange, but it worked with my file, dunno if it helps...

You could be running into a couple of different road blocks with your Freehand file.

If you're on the MAC, go get the latest build (051) off of the customer only site. That build has ironed out most of the Freehand issues.

If you already have build 051 on the Mac or are running on Windows, you can check to see if any of the shapes have only two anchor points defining them. Objects need to have more than two anchor points for Swift 3D to recognize them.

You can also check to make sure your objects are closed and contain no gradients.

If you don't find anything, you may want to send your EPS file to support@erain.com. They can have a look and give you the definitive solution.
