I just bought Swift3D because I got review sthat it was so great for importing into flash. We produce set designs and we want to put these into a flash brochure to send to clients. We design our sets in Truespace 5.0 and export as 3DS files. When I imported a set into Swift3D.. Nothing there! nothing in the viewport ! I also bougt Vecta3D standalone to compare with swift. I can see stuff in Vecta3d from the same imported file.. but it doesn't have as much functionality as Swift ie animations. can anyone shed some light on this???

Hi psycho
You to have controlled the scale of the object constructed in truespace, why to times the scale is large
and in swift3d you do not succeed to see the object in the viewport.
This can be a reason.

Thanks dood I'll try that... Let you know how I get on!
You may already be doing this, but a common problem is that people try to import the scene rather than opening the scene. When you create a new document you are given the option of opening a 3DS file. Using the import function will not work. Does this help?
