I have an easy question Paul could u possibly help me im a beginner just have a question about an swf issue trying to import it into another flash file i posted it but no one has responded to it.

Thanks for checking it out, I have a small file thats a loop of a bunch of logos going through a mask, the animation is finished and i was trying to import the swf in to the bigger file which is the website im working on. But when I import the swf it looses all content and animation is there any way around that. I thought making the animation a movie clip would allow me to export it and it wouyld keep all its content and animation, but it does not.

One more question if u have the time, how do u make the text field component in flash work if say u wanted people to be able to enter there email adress at the intro pagew of the website im building?

Well my first question is in the forum about importing a swf file into a larger flash file. I have a small animaion going throught a mask and would like to export that animation out as an swf and import into this website im working on. The problem is when I import the swf file it looses al content and animation is there anyway around this.

And the second question is if u have time, im sorry im just hungry for knowlege and new to this flash thing. But how do u make the text field component work in flash eight if say u wanted someone to be able to enter there email adress when they visit the page.

Again i cant say much without seeing the swf in question or if you can give some information on how the images/content/script are being used.

As for the textfield. just make sure it is set for input text.
