Is there a way to guide MCs?

I created some 3D boxes. I want them to move to form letters. Is there anytips on doing this?

u remember a commodores 64 structure?
there all fonts were little grfx 8X8 dots in size
what about generating an own matrix describing the positions of dots for yar font.
then just compare if yar font has a dot set at that point and if so place one of yar 3d whatevers accordingly if not leave it.
that would b an easy solution...
