View Full Version : Illustrator Drawing not Importing fully
I made a drawing with Adobe Illustrator, but when I import it into Swift 3D it missing a large portion of the drawing.
Does anyone know why this is happening?
Hi dv8,
to put it in "Av" terms...... arrogance....... But answering normally....... Flash doesn't like certain JPG, BMP, GIF formats ....... Squares don't fit through Circular holes........

Yeah but,
The images I created are not Bitmap images. I created a vector image. And according to Swift 3D users Illustrator files are importable. My problem is that the Vector drawing I made with AI is missing lines.
Don't know, I'm about to give up on that drawing I made. I was wondering if I was missing something.

Is there any way you could send that file to support@erain.com with attn. Nick in the body.
I can take a look at it and see if there are any fatal flaws. Swift 3D is pretty picky about its vecors so if you have unclosed objects, overlapping lines and fills, etc. you may encounter loss of information.
It's almost always fixable, but it has to be done in your drawing program before import.
Anyway, if you send it I'll take a peak.
I believe the problem I have does lie in the Illustrator file.
Broken lines. I thought that may be factor. I'll probably need to magnify the image to see the broken lines.
Thanks.
