revolving 3d logos

i'm curious how people get those revolving 3d logos any help would be much appreciated

I use a program known as Swift3D. It's a vector-based 3D program that you can export directly into flash. Awesome program!!!

I reviewed the swift3D plug-in for 3DS MAX here...

...take a look, I haven't tried the stand-alone version of swift - its unlikely to match the 3D capabilities of MAX but I'm sure the output quality is the same.
