View Full Version : Swift 3D question
Hello all,
I'm new to this forum, and I already got a question I hope someone can answer. I just got Swift 3D, and made a simple animation. I then exported it as a shockwave file. Then I put it one my website, but it's not displaying. Am I doing something wrong in the exporting?
Thanks,
Jin

If you can give a link I can help you better. It could be several different things.... it's hard to say until I see it myself.

If your animation is created on black background and the rendering is executed alone with the outline, you will see only the background black becouse swift3d it exports the single outline with the black color. I believe that this can be the only possibility that you do not see. Always that it does not have some problem the browser.

First of all, I saw your websites and I think they're awesome! I opened my Swift 3D animation using my Internet Explorer 5 browser, and the animation displayed perfectly. When I inserted the animation using Dreamweaver 2(insert shockwave), I displayed it using the preview in browser command. I saw the frame of reference load, but then the animation didn't show. It was rendered in gradient and the background was white. I can't give a link to my website at the moment because I didn't upload it yet. I'm also using the trial version now, maybe that could be the problem?

Hi Jin
Perhaps if you use Dreamweaver 2, must create situated a new one and save the rows swf in one folder comprised in the created set of the situated one. I explain myself better, Dreamweaver to times does not allow you to see of the images that second it has a situated external connection to (the complete one) from created you, then when you insert the image saved on an external folder you inform to you that it not fà part of the situated one and therefore in the browser you will not see it.
If it is not for this reason you must explain more still.
Ciao

I figured it out. Instead of using insert, shockwave command, I used the insert flash command in Dreamweaver. Now it's working. Thanks.
