hey alexandros,
Try and get hold of swift3d. I believe that you can import 3dmax files into swift3d. The advantage of doing that is that once you have your shape in swift3d, you can then export it as a .swf file which can be imported straight into flash.

swift3d is a 3d program by a company called electric rain. It is very basic as far as 3d software goes but it has the advantage of being able to output .swf files.
I think it costs about 150UKP but i'm sure you can pick up a demo from somewhere. Try their website www.erain.com
hope this helps

You can export your mesh as a wmf or dxf and import that into flash easily enough.

shore for a simple image but you only get the wireframe?(no shadows no highlights) !
and if you use this method on complex shapes for animations you
cad go  very fast!

You can actually import some very complex meshes without hurting Flash too much... and fortunately the request was for the importation of a wireframe design. So .wmf should suit alexandros' purposes. :)

my mistake :D
Hi there! Everyone talks and uses swift3d!I recently changed my graphics hardware to a 3d Accelarator but before i had several problems with swift!
Try»llustrate!™ 5.1« , it's a plug in fo 3d max! you can get the trial here
http://www.davidgould.com/Illustrate/IllustrateForMax/Illustrate51.htm
and it imports the whole animation if you need one!
Cheers!

Hi
I personally use Swift3d 2 or Poser 4 Pro Pack in combination with 3d Studio Max.
You can build objects with 3d max and later on, import into these programs,
I believe that the cost is acceptable and convenient.
And take into account that the Ravix2 system is much more powerful and allows to catch up optimal results.

If you need to know any thing about it, I use swift 3d. It's a nice program.

goto Export in 3ds, then choose the output as .3DS. Later, go back to Swift 3d, choose New from 3Ds. This is COMBO-OWNING
