When I make changes in my xml file on the server they won't change on my site. I'm on a Mac with the latest Snow Leopard OS. I use Transmit for my ftp browser. I tried editing the xml in Transmit but didn't stay. As soon as I refresh the browser it revertes back to the unchanged xml. I purged the cache in Firefiox many times.

There might be a server cache issue. You might want to check if there are proxy cache on your hosting provider.

Thanks for yur speedy reply, I'll call them. I use GoDaddy Server.

I checked GoDaddy (my hosting server) and they said my php is ok but that it may be my config.xml file, which I know little about. But it's taking new images now but I still can't rearange them in the xml or add different copy at the bottom of each image,

Thanks, it was a template. At the end of each line of the xml code thre's an area to put a description of the image as you roll over it at the bottom of the image and when I put in something different than what's in the line of code it won't show up on the rollover. Example:
<image src="galleries/Graphic Design/Diversity_Poster 4 foot on the horazontal.jpg" thumb="galleries/Graphic Design/thumbs/Diversity_Poster 4 foot on the horazontal.jpg">Diversity Poster 4 foot on the horazontal</image> so if I wanted to change Diversity Poster 4 foot on the horazontal</image> to just Diversity Poster or the other way around change the 2 descriptins insided the xml to just Diversity Poster and the rollover descripter to Diversity Poster 4 foot on the horazontal, either way when I make the change and resave the xml in the server it won't change. Thanks for your reply.
