Loading mutiple external SWF's slows all movies?
I have a mainMovie.swf which acts as the PlaceHolder for 3 other SWF movies. After the mainMovie.swf has finished loading I set three other movies to begin loading (movie1.swf, movie2.swf, movie3.swf) so as to minimise those annoying loading screens later on in the users experience.
What I end up with is 4 movies all existing at the same time and although there is only ever 1 playing (i.e. as one plays the others all recieve stop(); commands) all the movies slow down massively. What is the solution to this problem? Thanks in advance, Chris Gilbert
