Cross Domain Issues (JS)
We have pages that host flash content, soon to be hosted offsite. The issue is, the flash movies call back to jscript functions on the page. If the flash is hosted externally, we will get a cross site scripting error since the script is on Comcast.com and the flash is potentially on another domain. We have considered having a sub domain, like flash.comcast.com, perhaps that would be enough to avoid this issue. How would you recommend approaching this issue and what experience have you in managing cross site scripting issues associated with remotely hosted content?
