Ive done many searches and never found any answers that are understandable/illegible to me. A simple play button is all I ask for. I don't want a movie clip that is substituting a button. Is it hard enough to answer the script to a play button so when clicked it'll plays the flash animation? In this case the first frame is scripted to stop when seen in the swf/flash file, so it stops when seen in the swf/flash file, and I have frame 2 leading to frame 51 with a short animation saying my button has finally worked. The frame is labeled "abc", and I have done many combinations to have my button, when pressed, go to frame 2 and play to frame 51. I was talking to someone else and they said all I need is to label a frame anything and in the script (didn't explain which script) put "gotoAndPlay("framelabelname");. I did so and got the error saying it needs the handler or whatever. I may sound like an uber noob right now but please help.
