Avoiding: Error #1009 Null Object with the help of code
is there any way* of how to make flash to know about all the objects that are mentioned in the flash project, but the code, runs them earlier than they are engaged in the time-line?
We got MC1 and MC2 - objects (MovieClip type, but not buttons) that are placed on the time-line whose frames are positioned at: frame 1 (MC1) and frame 23 (MC2).
We got a code which runs on the first frame and it tries to refer to such object as MC1. It works, since that object was on X layer, but on the first frame.
However, later on, if after this command there would be a reference to the MC2..it would give us out "Error #1009 Null Object". So my question is about this: is there any code that can pre-load that object?
I got some ideas, but this takes me into designing a flash in a way like there are a lot of the objects on the first frame (so to load them and keep a reference not to null) - and i can put them outside of the frame, so to be unable to see them, but that's not the best way to go around...
Also, putting a code after the object was loaded up, looks a bit troublesome to my strategy of writing the code, or I don't think I got much time on devising a new one. So for the starters, knowing about such code that allows to load these objects in the first moment of running the flash, would help us a lot I guess.
